About this logo digitizing service

Hand-punched embroidery digitizing for any logo, artwork or brand mark. Delivered as machine-ready files with clean stitch paths, correct densities and perfectly balanced push-and-pull compensation.

Your logo deserves more than an auto-converted stitch file. StichDesign digitizers hand-punch every logo from scratch so the finished embroidery looks crisp on the very first sew-out — not on the third or fourth revision. Whether you run a single home machine or a 30-head commercial operation, we deliver production-ready files that stitch cleanly, thread-break less and preserve the details your brand is known for.

What professional logo digitizing actually is

Logo digitizing is the craft of converting a printed or digital logo into an embroidery file that tells your machine exactly where to place each stitch, in what order, at what density, and with which underlay. It is not the same as opening artwork in software and clicking Convert. That shortcut — usually called auto-digitizing — produces a file the machine can read, but not one that finishes cleanly on fabric.

When a StichDesign digitizer builds your logo, they choose stitch types by shape: satin columns for narrow strokes, tatami fills for large solid areas, running stitches for detail lines. They plan an underlay grid to stabilize the fabric before top stitching lands. They add push-and-pull compensation so text does not warp when the needle drags the material. Every one of those decisions is a design choice, and every choice affects how the finished embroidery reads at three feet away.

That is why hand-punched digitizing outperforms auto-digitizing in every meaningful metric: fewer thread breaks per thousand stitches, fewer trims, tighter registration, cleaner satin edges and — most importantly — a first-time approval rate above ninety-five percent. If you have ever paid for a cheap digitized file only to sew it three times before it looked right, you already know the true cost of automation.

How our custom logo digitizing service works

You send us any source you have: JPEG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or even a phone photo of an existing embroidered patch. Tell us the garment (polo, cap, jacket, bag, apron), the fabric weight, the finished size in inches, and the thread brand you prefer — Madeira Classic, Isacord, Robison-Anton, Marathon. If you are not sure, describe the project and we will fill in the blanks.

A senior digitizer reviews your artwork and plans the file. That means analyzing color count, deciding which elements collapse to a single thread color, mapping stitch order to minimize trims and jumps, and choosing an underlay recipe suited to your garment. Only after that plan is set does anyone start punching.

The punched file is virtually stitched inside our software, exported and reviewed for push-pull, registration and coverage. On complex jobs a real sew-out is produced on a swatch of your fabric. You get a proof PDF along with machine-ready files in every format on our list. If anything is off, we revise for free — we do not stop until the file is production-grade.

Custom digitizing for every garment and machine

Different substrates need different digitizing. Piqué polos, terry towels, twill caps, fleece hoodies, nylon jackets and knit beanies all behave differently under the needle. A file that runs beautifully on a cotton polo will pucker on nylon. A design that looks crisp on a cap will read soft on fleece. Our team digitizes to the specific garment you name on the order — not a generic best-fit.

We support every commercial and home machine format on the market. Tajima, Barudan, ZSK, Melco, SWF, Ricoma, Happy, Brother, Janome, Bernina and Husqvarna are all handled from a single order. You receive DST, PES, EXP, JEF, VP3, HUS, VIP, XXX and EMB as a bundled ZIP, along with a color chart mapped to Madeira, Isacord and Robison-Anton thread numbers so your operator does not have to guess.

Why buyers choose StichDesign over cheap $3 digitizing

The internet is full of digitizing at three or four dollars a logo. Those files exist because the work is done in bulk by trainees or software, and the seller is betting you will not run enough units to notice the flaws. If you are running a single home hoop for a personal gift, the risk is low. If you are running hundreds of units through a commercial head, one bad file costs more in thread, downtime and rework than professional digitizing costs for a year.

Our pricing reflects an actual senior digitizer's time — usually forty-five minutes to two hours per file. In exchange you get a design that will not blow tension, will not birdnest at speed, will not require your operator to babysit the machine, and will not embarrass your brand on the finished garment. Twelve thousand brands in more than sixty countries have made the same math.
