About

A digitizing studio built by digitizers.

StichDesign was founded on a single frustration: too much of the embroidery industry ships auto-generated files and hopes for the best. We built a studio around senior digitizers, tight process, and a promise to make files that sew right the first time.

Our story

StichDesign started as a small internal team helping a handful of embroidery shops in North America clean up bad digitizing they'd received from bargain vendors. Word spread fast — production managers passed our contact around because our files ran cleanly on day one.

Today we operate three studios across three continents with more than fifty senior digitizers, and we deliver machine-ready files to shops, brands and print companies in over 60 countries. The approach hasn't changed: every logo hand-punched, every revision free, every format included.

What we believe

Digitizing is craftsmanship disguised as a computer file. The difference between a good file and a bad one is a person deciding, stitch by stitch, how a piece of art should be sewn. Software can approximate that decision; it can't replace it.

Craft over automation

Every file is hand-punched — never auto-converted.
